Night Job: Senior at Fordham University. Major: Communications and Media
24x7 Job: NY Sports Fan
Favorite Sport: Basketball
Favorite NEW YORK Sports Teams: Yankees, Jets, and Knicks(Yeah, I know the Knicks stink worse than 10-day garbage but a girl can dream.)
Note the strong emphasis on New York, so, NO, I don't cheer for ANY non-NY Sports team!
Sports I've played: Handball, Track and Field (Sprinter), Skellies (If you don't know what this is, then you didn't grow up in NYC.), basketball, volleyball, wiffle ball, and double dutch.
Some of you may question whether double dutch or skellies qualify as a sport. If yes, then I would like to remind you that curling is an Olympic sport. 'Nuff said!
Now that you know me, I should tell you that my purpose is not to recap a NY team win or loss but rather to debate, explore, and highlight issues outside the game. Let the games begin!
